Courses Built for Your Team
We teach three audiences. Each one gets a different curriculum, different pace, and different lab complexity. Pick the one that fits — or mix and match for a full-team training plan.
For Working Sysadmins
You're already managing servers. You want to get better at automation, monitoring, or security hardening — without starting from scratch. This is the core of what we do.
Evening sessions. 6-week sprints. Real infrastructure labs.
For IT Managers
Your team needs training but you're not sure where to start. We'll assess your group's skill levels and build a custom curriculum. You get progress reports and a clear skills matrix at the end.
- • Team assessments included
- • On-site or remote delivery
- • Volume discounts for 5+ seats
For Career Changers
Moving into IT from another field. We run a foundations bootcamp twice a year — 10 weeks, covers the basics you need before you can call yourself a junior sysadmin. It's intensive. But it works.
We don't cover every specialty. Networking and database administration aren't our thing — we refer those out to partners who do them better.
Case Study: Redmill Fabrication
Redmill had four sysadmins and zero documentation. When their senior admin left, the team couldn't manage the patching schedule, and two outages happened in a single month. They called us in October.
We ran a 6-week automation and monitoring track for the remaining three admins. On-site at their Charlotte office, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Built runbooks together during the labs — their runbooks, for their systems.
Zero unplanned outages in the following nine months. Patching time dropped from roughly 3 days to about 4 hours. And one of the three ended up getting promoted to lead the team.
Training investment: about $8,400 total for three seats.

What Clients Say
"We sent three of our people. Honestly? I was skeptical — we've done vendor training before and it was always generic. This was different. They built labs using scenarios that looked like our actual environment. Our patch cycle went from panic mode to routine."
Warren Hayes
VP of Operations, Redmill Fabrication
"The foundations bootcamp got me from helpdesk to a junior admin role in four months. Not going to lie, the pace was brutal — but that's kind of the point."
Andre Washington
Sysadmin, Lakewood Senior Living
"Good people. Small class. My only complaint is scheduling — they only run certain tracks twice a year, so you have to plan ahead. Once you're in, though, the quality is there."
Patricia Sandoval
IT Director, Covington & Wells Law
"After Rootlevel trained our team, we stopped calling the consultant. That alone paid for the whole thing."
— Dana Kirby, CFO, Foxgrove Analytics
